MOU signed between EuroCham and the Ministry of Commerce

We are pleased to announce that EuroCham and the Ministry of Commerce signed yesterday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Cooperation. His Excellency Sun Chanthol, Senior Minister, Minister of Commerce and Mr. Arnaud Darc, Vice-Chairman of European Chamber of Commerce, attended this signing ceremony along with a number of representatives from both institutions.

The signature of this MoU between the Ministry of Commerce and EuroCham reflects our mutual commitment to build a culture of cooperation with the view of improving the overall business environment in Cambodia in order to attract more European investors as well as foster economic growth of the country.

His Excellency Sun Chanthol emphasized the reforms taken by the Ministry of Commerce to ease business in Cambodia, highlighting the online registration system for companies that should be launched very soon.

By becoming the first Business Association in Cambodia to sign an MOU with the Ministry of Commerce, EuroCham is particularly proud to take the lead among its peers for supporting the Royal Government’s efforts to promote a stable and potential business environment that will help to build confidence with foreign investors and be more conducive to sustainable growth on the long run.
