Meeting with H.E. Mr KONG Vibol, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Director-General of the General Department of Taxation
On 4 November 2020, EuroCham met H.E. Mr KONG Vibol, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Director-General of the General Department of Taxation, to introduce the new Chairman of EuroCham’s Board of Directors and to discuss the forthcoming EuroCham Tax Forum in Phnom Penh.
During the meeting, H.E. Mr KONG Vibol congratulated the new Chairman and the on-going cooperation between the two entities. More importantly, H.E. Mr KONG Vibol agreed to participate in the forthcoming EuroCham Tax Forum in Phnom Penh along with other high-level officials. Following the Tax Forum discussion, he also updated EuroCham on the Royal Government’s direction and new regulations.
On behalf of EuroCham, Mr Tassilo BRINZER thanked H.E. Mr KONG Vibol and his team for their participation in the upcoming EuroCham Tax Forum. At this occasion, EuroCham also raised the zero-carbon policy adopted by major European companies to be carbon neutral by 2030. In addition, Mr Tassilo BRINZER expressed the commitment that EuroCham, together with its partners, will continue to support the Royal Government of Cambodia in the development of new legislation, such as the new draft Law on Investment.
