Consultative Meeting at the Council for the Development of Cambodia regarding the forthcoming Law on Investment

On 6 November 2020, EuroCham representatives participated in a consultative meeting convened by the Council for the Development of Cambodia regarding the forthcoming Law on Investment. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss further the recommendations and comments made by the private sector on the draft Law on Investment with representatives of all relevant ministries.

As a representative of the European private sector in Cambodia, EuroCham actively participated in this consultation process by providing technical comments to be able to voice the interests of our members. A modern and progressive new investment law will be a salient factor in maintaining and attracting investment in Cambodia. We will continue our work on this important step towards an even stronger investment environment in Cambodia, together with our partners and the Royal Government.
