Meeting with His Excellency Dr Ith Sam Heng, Minister of Labour and Vocational Training
On 14 October 2020, EuroCham had the privilege to meet H.E. DR ITH Sam Heng, Minister of Labour and Vocational Training, to formally introduce the new Board of Directors and the new Executive Director.
During the meeting, EuroCham Chairman, Mr Tassilo BRINZER, presented the Chamber’s past and on-going activities with the Ministry over the recent years. The Chairman also agreed to provide input on the drafted regulations through consultation meetings, as well as supporting the Ministry in disseminating legal and practical information to the business community and promoting Cambodia as an investment destination to the region, through the Chamber’s networks.
On the Ministry’s side, H.E. Dr ITH Sam Heng shared an insightful overview of the Ministry’s current areas of work, as well as the vision and policies in favour of Cambodia's private sector development during the COVID-19 pandemic.
