Private Sector meeting on the Covid 19 Foreigner Entry Deposit and Fees

On 15 June 2020, EuroCham joined a private sector meeting on the COVID-19 related Foreigners Entry Deposit and Fees chaired by the Malaysian Business Council of Cambodia and the International Business Chamber. While understanding the motivation to preserve Cambodia's health situation, the participants discussed their concerns related to the implementation of these new entry barriers, whom it should apply to, and the impact on planned trade missions to the Kingdom. It was agreed to raise these concerns formally at the next session of the Government Private Sector Forum Working Group D meeting.
