EuroCham Breakfast Talk on Commercial Arbitration

Last Tuesday, 50 participants joined our Breakfast Talk on Commercial Arbitration to understand how commercial arbitration can ensure investors to protect their ventures, enforce contracts, and efficiently resolve disputes. Our panel of experts was composed of:

Mr. Alex Larkin, EuroCham representative at the National Commercial Arbitration Centre of Cambodia (NCAC).
Alex defined commercial arbitration and explained its advantages and its usefulness in resolving commercial disputes.

Mr. Bun Youdy, Member of EuroCham Board and Executive Board of the NCAC.
Youdy described recent developments on arbitration in Cambodia, the rules governing this practice and introduced the NCAC.

Mr. Steven Lim, fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators.
Steven placed the topic in a regional perspective: International Arbitration, Institutional vs Ad-Hoc Arbitration and Enforcement of Arbitration Awards were the focus of his discussion.
