Sub Decree On Public Holiday Calendar of Civil Servant and Worker for Year 2018

- Having seen the Constitution of Cambodia
- Having seen the Royal Kret NS/RKT/0913/903 dated 24 Sept 2013 on the Nomination of Royal
Government of Cambodia
- Having seen the Royal Kram 02/NS/94 dated 20 July 1994 promulgating the law on the
establishment and function of council of minister
- Having seen the Royal Kret NS/RKT/0805/354 dated 5 Aug 2005 on restructuring Permanent
national committee for national and international festival to National committee for national and
international festival preparation
- Accorded to the Sub Decree No. 223ANKr.BK dated October 27, 2016 of the Royal Government on
Public Holiday Calendar for civil servant and worker in 2017
- Having seen the Sub Decree No 21 OrNKr/BK dated 30 Apr 1996 on the determination of working
hours per week of civil servant of Kingdom of Cambodia
- Having seen the Sub Decree No 25 OrNKr/BK dated 23 Feb 2010 on the function of General
Secretariat of national committee for national and international festival preparation
- Based on the request of Chairman of national committee for national and international festival
preparation

Hereby Decided

Article One

Shall be allowed for civil servant, employee and workers in the Kingdom of Cambodia to have the 2018
Public Holiday as follow:

- 01 January International New Year Day 1 day off
- 07 January Victory over Genocide Day 1 day off
- 31 January Meak Bochea Day 1 day off
- 08 March International Women’s Day 1 day off
- 14-15-16 April Khmer New Year Day 3 days off
- 29 April Visak Bochea day 1 day off
- 01 May International Labor Day 1 day off
- 03 May Royal Plowing Ceremony Day 1 day off
- 13-14-15 May King Norodom Sihamoni’s Birthday 3 days off
- 01 June International Children Day 1 day off
- 18 June Queen Norodom Monineath Sihanouk’s Birthday 1 day off
- 24 September Constitutional Day 1 day off
- 08-09-10 October Pchum Ben Day 3 days off
- 15 October Commemoration Day of Former King Norodom Sihanouk 1 day off
- 23 October Paris Peace Accord 1 days off
- 29 October King Norodom Sihakmoni’s Coronation Day 1 day off
- 09 November Independent Day 1 day off
- 21-22-23 November Water Festival Day 3 days off
- 10 December International Human Rights Day 1 day off

Article 2:

Any regulations contrary to this Sub Decree shall be null and void.

Article 3:

The Minister in charge of Council of Minister, Minister, Secretary of State of all ministries, entities,
municipal and provincial governor shall effectively implement this sub decree from this signatory date.
