March: Green Biz Committee meets to prepare the Green Biz Forum
Green Biz ExCom met three times this month to prepare the Green Biz Forum that will take place on 27 April.
March 3: Senior Minister of Industry and Handicraft receives EuroCham Automotive Committee
Senior Minister Cham Prasidh of Ministry of Industry and Handicrafts held a meeting with EuroCham Automotive Committee to discuss the implementation of Prakas 150 related to automotive standards. Following the meeting, the Ministry issued an announcement providing three years grace period to implement the Prakas 150 as requested by EuroCham. On the same occasion, Senior Minister praised EuroCham White Book for its high quality contents.
March 6: Tax Committee Meeting
The Tax Committee met to further review the draft version of the White Book 2017. The tax chapter for the White Book 2017 has been finalized.
March 9: G-PDF Working Group B Meeting
G-PSF Working Group B meeting of private sector Task Forces.
March 10: Transportation and Logistics Committee Meeting
Transportation and Logistics Committee meeting discussed further inputs to the Customs draft prakas on out of hours and out of office public service fees.
March 16: Wine and Spirits Committee Meeting
Wine & Spirits Committee meeting to adopt Statutes and further discuss advocacy strategy regarding the tax regime applied to such products.
March 16: Consultation with Ministry of Economy and Finance on Tax Policy
EuroCham joins EU Economic Counselor meeting
Tax Committee met with MEF to provide feedback and inputs of the Tax Policy, especially regarding the elaboration of the future Tax Policy 2019-2023.
March 20: EU Delegation
EU Delegation DG Trade meeting with Chairs of EuroCham Advocacy Working Group, Automotive Committee and Wine & Spirits Committee to review current Advocacy issues.
March 21: EuroCham joins EU Economic Counselor meeting
EuroCham Executive Team joins the six-monthly EU Economic Counselor meeting at the EU Delegation.
March 21: Transportation and Logistics Committee Meeting
EuroCham team and its Transportation and Logistics Committee ExCom discussed with Cambodia Chamber of Commerce on the private sector approach toward the draft Prakas on Custom Fees Outside Customs Office.
March 22: Coca Cola and Ministry of Economy and Finance
EuroCham attends the signature of an MOU of cooperation between Coca Cola and the Ministry of Economy and Finance
March 23: EuroCham meets Ministry of Commerce on IPR and Trademark Protection
MOC Department of Intellectual Property Rights met with EuroCham to discuss the organization of a future event on IPR and Trade Mark protection with the support of EU IP Desk.
March 24: Cambodia Property Awards
Cambodia Property Award with the participation of the Senior Minister for Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction facilitated by EuroCham
March 30: EuroCham attends CCC Annual General Assembly and Gala Dinner
Cambodia Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting and Gala Dinner attended by EuroCham Executive Team and Members.
