Campore Group is one of the newest members. The end-to-end retail company, which deals with the import and sale of premium and authentic foreign brands just settled in Cambodia to extend his reach. EuroCham Cambodia sat down with the Head of Marketing, Janis Koknevics, to talk about what Campore sees in this country and what opportunities EuroCham's Membership offers him.
Why did you choose Cambodia for your operations/business?
Campore Group was established in 2013 with a mission to introduce premium and luxury brands to one of South East Asia’s most rapidly expanding economies and develop an extensive distribution network in the country and we identified Cambodia as such. As a result of a successful entry into the retail market, Central Mall opened its flagship in Phnom Penh to market our travel-lifestyle brands. Campore Group’s vision is to create a chain of department stores under the Central Mall name, while simultaneously growing our distribution network in the region. Cambodia as a unsaturated market gave us the chance to try the possibilities.
What types of partnerships and/or links do you look for with other EuroCham members?
Campore Group’s extensive distribution network centres around business-to-business sales, corporate sales, tour agencies, financial institutions, educational institutions and property development. Some of EuroCham members are Campore Group’s existing partners both for corporate partnerships, B2B sales and as loyal customers, but we naturally look forward to increasing awareness amongst the EuroCham members about our company, our Central Mall and the brands that we carry. As a company we look forward to great business and networking opportunities within EuroCham with all of its members.
Do you have any special promotions or deals to offer other EuroCham members?
