Green Business Forum 2016

EuroCham organized for the third time the Green Business Forum on April 27^th, 2016 with the support of the Delegation of the European Union to Cambodia. Entitled “Green is Riel”, this year’s Green Business Forum aimed to reflect the economic profitability of green practices in businesses.
The Forum was presided over by the European Ambassador to Cambodia and high level representatives from the Royal Government and was joined by more than 250 local and regional industry experts. The panel discussion centered around four main topics: Profitability of green practices in business, Green Buildings, Renewable Energy and Corporate Social Responsibility.
The panel discussion was followed by a cocktail reception held in the evening, where members of the Green Business community in Cambodia met and shared their green visions.
Both the panel discussion and cocktail reception took place at Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra. Since Sofitel’s core concept is to combine luxury and sustainability, by using recyclable material and promoting locally grown and sourced products and services, the Green Business Forum was held at the hotel to fit the theme of the conference.
