Three Quick Questions with Market Analyst Panhaboth PHAT

This week, we sat down with our newly promoted market analyst Panhaboth PHAT. Both joined the team as a full-time market analyst after completing a six-month internship. Get to know a little bit about Both below.

EuroCham: Congratulations on being promoted to a market analyst! How has your short experience at EuroCham been so far?

Panhaboth: My time at EuroCham over the past six months has been an incredible journey. The team’s support has greatly contributed to this positive experience, creating a collaborative and encouraging environment. Our diverse team, with its range of nationalities, also promotes inclusivity in our work.

EuroCham: What did you study in school and did you feel prepared by your studies to enter the workforce?

Panhaboth: I studied International Economy, and I do feel well-prepared for the workforce. My studies were closely aligned with my career field, as I studied on subjects such as macroeconomics, microeconomics, and free trade agreements. These courses provided me with a solid foundation and relevant knowledge that directly supports my role as a market analyst.

EuroCham: What did you learn with your first project on SKills Gaps Assesment?

Panhaboth:
My first project at EuroCham, the Skills Gap Assessment was a particularly valuable learning experience. This project involved an in-depth study of Cambodia's current labor market dynamics. Working alongside the services team, I participated in various activities such as conducting company visits, making phone calls, and sending emails to gather responses for the survey. These tasks significantly enhanced my soft skills, including communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, I had the opportunity to analyze the survey results and compile the findings into a comprehensive report. So, be sure to check it out to find out more about Cambodia's current labor market.
