Virtual Trade Mission of EU-ABC and EuroCham to the Ministry of Economy and Finance
On 1st November, EuroCham and the EU-ASEAN Business Council (EU-ABC) met with His Excellency Phan Phalla, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Economic and Finance as part of the EU-ABC virtual trip mission with the Royal Government Institutions. Both parties touched upon several topics including recent regulatory developments, government procurement, illicit trade, current tax structure, and the plan for Cambodia 2022 ASEAN Chairmanship.
EuroCham facilitated a series of high-level virtual meetings for a delegation of European multinational corporations brought to Cambodia by our partner the EU-ABC. This virtual visit enabled us to provide the visiting European companies with first-hand information on Cambodia’s trade and investment policies, and answers to several business issues and challenges.
