ACTIVITIES 

IDH / LABS is a secretariat that facilitates safety inspections, training, remediation and a helpline within the garment sector.

BACKGROUND

LABS (Life and Building Safety) is a part of IDH, the Sustainable Trade Initiative, an organization from the Netherlands. LABS works with 5 Brands: Bestseller, Gap Inc, Target Corp, VF Corp and Walmart, with over 120 factories in Cambodia. Currently, the LABS Initiative started in India and Vietnam in 2019, performing over 265+ factory assessments to date. IDH is the parent company, a non-profit organization operating in over 50 countries across the Americas, Africa, Asia and Europe.
