Emmanuel Menanteau
CEO
Emmanuel MENANTEAU began his career in 1993 at French Multinational Company Sextant Avionique where he held a number of positions, first as Sales and Marketing Manager then as the Head of the company’s office in India.
In 2001, he joined France’s Thales, a world leading company for Defense, Transport and Aerospace systems as Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, based in Singapore (2004-2010) then in China (2010).
In July 2011, Emmanuel MENANTEAU was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Cambodia Airports, a subsidiary of VINCI Airports Group (France) holding the concession of the country’s network of international airports. He is also in charge of VINCI Airports development activities in South East Asia.
In 2012, Emmanuel was appointed ACI Asia Pacific Board member, then in 2014 he joined ACI Asia Pacific Ex-Com as Treasurer and ACI world board.
Emmanuel MENANTEAU is a graduate of the Paris based School of International Relations and Commerce. He is the Chairman of the European Chamber of Commerce of Cambodia and French Trade Advisor.

Rose Swagemakers
Since graduating from Ryerson University (Toronto, Canada) with a Bachelor’s of Commerce, specializing in Meeting & Event Management, she has been planning record-breaking educational seminars, conferences, board meetings, fundraising events and social gatherings. In 2009, Rose received the prestigious CMP – Certified Meeting Professional designation from the Convention Industry Council.
Rose worked closely with European companies in her role as Manager of Meeting & Incentive Sales for the Netherlands Board of Tourism in Toronto, a role in which she actively promoted the European hospitality industry to Canadians and helped to significantly increase market share.
She went on to run a well-respected sustainability consultancy (SME) and manage several trade associations as an Executive Director. During
this time, she planned noteworthy trade missions for European companies and forged numerous successful partnerships and alliances between key stakeholder groups.
Rose is delighted to be spending her days building informative, thought - provoking EuroCham events, as well as targeted membership services.
She takes pleasure in connecting with EuroCham’s growing and dynamic membership and serving their wide range of needs.

Rogier Van Mansvelt
Rogier van Mansvelt is working for GGGI as the project lead for the Switch Garment project. Almost 20 years ago, he relocated to Cambodia from the Netherlands. He started to work for GERES with solar cookers, biogas and cookstoves and become a renewable energy consultant for UNDP, World Bank, ADB and IFC. About 10 years ago, Rogier moved to the private sector to work for a private investment company in renewable energy as CTO and CEO, and over the last 6 years he worked as an engineer and business development manager at one of the leading engineering companies on solar and renewable energy in Asia. He holds an environmental master's degree from the Utrecht University, and he can speak English, Dutch and Khmer fluently.

Tom HESKETH

Thomas recently joined EuroCham in the role of Business Services Manager, where he'll be managing the services team in the implementation of short term consulting projects across Cambodia, and assisting European companies get started in the country.
Prior to joining EuroCham, Thomas was a Consultant at Emerging Markets Consulting (EMC), based in Lao PDR, where his work included the development and implementation of project methodologies for both development partners and private sector companies, including Save the Children, Plan International, The World Bank, IFC and GIZ, as well as multinational companies interested in Cambodia, Myanmar and Lao PDR. Most recently, this included a study on the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Lao PDR, as well as an assessment of the readiness for renewable energy investment in the Philippines.
Before joining EMC, Thomas worked as a Business Management Scheme entrant for BT Group Plc, undertaking rotations as an operations manager of a 24 person operations team, and as a project manager in charge of services quality. Prior to venturing into telecommunications, Thomas worked at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals as a Regulatory Strategist at the firms UK headquarters.
Thomas is a British Citizen, and received his degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Bath, UK.

Matthew Alexander POCOCK
Trade and Advocacy Expert
Matthew recently returned to Cambodia after spending one year in the UK working for His Majesty’s Department for International Trade. Matthew first arrived in Cambodia in late 2018 for a traineeship at the local EU Delegation. The choice had been between Libya, Myanmar or Cambodia. In going for Cambodia, he went for the safe option and never looked back. Despite only expecting to stay six months, he ended up living here for two years and a half, taking on a job as a market analyst for EuroCham. He’s now back for a second helping of this amazing country.
As the organisation’s new Trade and Advocacy Expert, Matthew will now focus for the first 6 months on writing EuroCham’s flagship publication, the White Book 2023. The White Book is the culmination of EuroCham’s advocacy work; it puts forward policy recommendations in several economic sectors for the attention of the Royal Government of Cambodia. The aim is to enhance the country’s business environment to the benefit of all stakeholders. Consultations have already begun to identify ongoing challenges in transport and logistics, agribusiness and healthcare.

Brian Badzmierowski

Brian Badzmierowski recently joined EuroCham in the role of Senior Communication Officer, where he will manage outreach and digital communication strategies for the chamber.
An experienced freelance journalist with a background in news reporting, feature writing, and communications, Brian has worked for Cambodian media outlets since he arrived in the Kingdom in 2020. After working as a sub-editor at the Phnom Penh Post, he moved to Khmer Times where he covered COVID-19, national news, and business. Most recently, he worked as a business reporter at Cambodia Investment Review focusing on finance, development, and trade.
In the United States, Brian started his career covering breaking news and sports at The Patriot Ledger and held roles as a sports broadcaster and political campaign organizer before moving to live and work in China in 2017.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Journalism & Mass Communication in 2010 from Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont.

Massimiliano Tropeano moved to India 20 years ago, successfully heading 3 buying offices for major Italian brands with responsibilities in buying, sourcing, production, quality, merchandising, CSR, etc. passing through hard goods and children care items, including sourcing in markets like Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Moved to Cambodia in 2016 with a major German retail chain, Massimiliano recently joined the EUROCHAM as integrated Expert of GIZ Fabric Project, where he is trying to bridge the gap between private enterprises and development world, bringing them together to a further level of cooperation and sustainability.

Gill moved to Cambodia in 2016 in search of career development opportunities after completing her MSc in Economic Development and has since held positions at Future Forum and Globe Media Asia.

Living in Cambodia since 2001, Tassilo co-founded Southeastern Globe Communications, a regional media company based in the Kingdom with publications such as Southeastasiaglobe.com, Discover Cambodia, Focus Cambodia and since 2020, Focus - Ready for Tomorrow (Khmer).
He is also the founder of Brains Communication, a PR & marketing consultancy, and Hops Craft Brewery, both in Phnom Penh.
Tassilo has been leading the German Business Group in Cambodia (ADW) since 2010, and is co-founder of the European Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia, of which he became Chairman in 2020.

Mr. Martin BRISSON
Executive Director
After almost 4 years as Executive director of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Cambodia (CCIFC), Martin Brisson joined EuroCham Cambodia as Deputy Executive Director in December 2022.
From 2015 to 2017, Martin worked as an economic and commercial attaché (VIA) at the French Embassy in Cambodia, in connection with Business France Vietnam. As the only representative of Business France in Cambodia, he successfully accompanied more than thirty companies (SMEs and multinationals) on the Cambodian market with prospecting and market research missions.
Still at the Embassy, where he was also in charge of macroeconomic and sectoral studies for the French Treasury, Martin had the opportunity to produce numerous notes covering a variety of subjects: microfinance, energy, construction, food security, automotive...
Martin holds a bachelor's degree in International Business from Neoma Business School, France, and a master's degree in Marketing and Communication from Toulouse Business School, France.

Lyze Ikopo Bentoto graduated from the University of Brussels with a Master in International and European Law and obtained a double LL.M. in Comparative Corporate and Financial Law from the University of Leeds
Lyze first joined the advocacy department in 2017 working closely with the sectoral committees before evolving to the position of Members and Chapters Manager.
As a certified Project Manager, she is also leading all our major projects.

Ms. Sara MONTI
Senior Responsible Business Hub Coordinator
Ms. Sara Monti is an Italian qualified lawyer with 10 years of experience in M&A, International Commercial Law and Corporate law at prestigious law firms in Milan, Beijing and Shanghai. She counts several experiences at academic level at Tsinghua University and Peking University in China; she obtained a Master Certificate from the Harvard Business School on Sustainable Business Strategy and a Certificate of Completion on Labour&Human Rights at the Council of Europe.
Based in Cambodia since 2020, she assisted the Textile Apparel Footwear and Travel Goods Association in Cambodia (TAFTAC) in the procedure in front of the EU General Court about the Everything-But-Arms (EBA) withdrawal.
She’s currently acting as Senior Responsible Business Hub Coordinator at Eurocham with specific expertise on sustainability and responsible business practices.

Francois Schnoebelen has an extensive career as HR practitioner in various countries and having managed sizable administration teams in various industries: Telecom, IT, Garment, Ministry of Finance, Transport, and Hospitality in 15 countries.
Since arriving in Cambodia, he has been Secretary General of JLC and Director of Social Compliance in the Garment Industry covering 5 countries for LIDL buyers. He has also launched a regional Consulting Agency (Level Up Consultants) in Management and Executive Recruitment.

Vosumtey SENG
Vosumtey is a recently graduated student who majored in international economics at the Institute of Foreign Languages. Her areas of interest include international trade, international finance, international macroeconomics, and microeconomics. She recently joined EuroCham Cambodia as the junior communication officer and is excited to embark on this new journey.
She formerly held positions as Assistant Manager, Budgeting and Reports at GGear Group and Marketing Communication Coordinator at Parbury Investments.

Jessica Tjandra
Senior Trade & Investment Analyst
Jessica graduated with a Master’s in Applied Economics with a Distinction. She was awarded the Department of Economics Prize 2020 for her academic excellence. Her study encompasses micro-, and macroeconomics, econometrics, as well as development economics.
After her master’s study, she joined UNDP Cambodia as a Junior Socio-Economic Consultant, covering various work including the feasibility study of local currency government bond issuance, developing a crypto-based single registry for CSOs, poverty risk analysis, and Covid-19 Economic and Social Impact Assessment in Cambodia. She then joined Emerging Market Consulting as a Senior Business Analyst, working on private sector development. Jessica is passionate about sustainable development and her passion is to eventually bridge finance and the private sector with sustainability.

Joachim is an international law student, specializing in European Union Law at the University of Lille, France. Before joining EuroCham he had two major working experiences: one in a French Sub-prefecture in Reunion Island and another one in Togo for a humanitarian association and in a lawyer's office.
Interested in the commercial relationship between the European Union and the ASEAN, he will help EuroCham in this mission of providing a better framework for European investors. Starting with the area of Real Estate and Construction.

Chetra is a senior at the Institute of Foreign Languages, Department of English, majoring in Professional Communication. He has experience working as a Secretary/Translator for the Ministry of Rural Development and was a Youth Nutrition Champion for the Helen Keller International Organization. At the organization, he promoted healthy diets for Cambodian citizens. Chetra also studied in Spain as part of the European Union’s Erasmus+ Program.
