Legal Assistant

Assisting supervisors/lawyers in drafting legal memorandums, advices, opinions, agreements on matters on a broad range of commercial matters including labor matters, market entry, cross border commercial (mergers and acquisitions, government projects, among others) transactions;
Assisting supervisors/lawyers in providing registration assistance with regulators and authorities on various commercial matters including liaison with relevant officials and/or authorities to resolve issues related to the matters assigned;
Assisting supervisors/lawyers to perform company and land due diligence, company registration, business licensing, and other registration and procedural work in relation to incorporation, real estate, intellectual property, employment and immigration, banking and finance, health and other commercial transactions;
Assisting supervisors/lawyers carrying out legal research, formulating strategies, providing advices and analytical responses to clients’ requests for assistance, and acting as the primary point of contact for clients on matters assigned by supervisor/lawyers;
Assisting supervisors/lawyers to draft/update templates and working tools;
Translating legal and other related documents from English to Khmer and vice versa;
Performing assigned administrative matters, including billing and collection of fees for consulting work performed;
Other adhoc duties are assigned by supervisors/lawyers;
