Job Description

The main responsibilities include but are not limited to enhancing guests and team members experience through improving the quality of the existing bakery and pastry products, creating, developing, and testing new products, recipes and baking techniques, overseeing, and ensuring the preparation, production and storage of desserts, breads, and pastries in compliance with sanitation and food safety standards, managing inventories, purchase orders, and food cost to align with the budget, and organizing team members and work to optimize the production and to supply on times. The executive pastry and bakery chef is also responsible for hiring, training, evaluation, termination, and retention of team members.




To successfully fill in this role, the applicant should hold a diploma in bakery and pastry from the accredited school of French culinary arts, and a similar role with extensive experience at the standard hotels, restaurants, bakery and pastry shop, have strong creative ideas, good communication in English, and sound knowledge in quality control, new product development, inspiring and directing people, transferring the knowledge and skills to team members, ability to work well with the team, proficiency in MS Office and flexibility in shifts.
