Job Description

Summary of the Postition

Supervise the operations of Kiwi Mart stores, ensure company policies and standards are applied in all shops to guarantee financial performance.

Reporting Structure

Immediate Supervisor: General Manager

Direct Report Positions: Operation Manager assistant, store managers

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage stores employees, conduct training sessions regularly
  • Supervise the recruitment and training for new comers
  • Ensure merchandise displays are on line with company standards
  • Ensure all stores are tidy and cleaned at all time
  • Ensure cashier operations are on line with standards and SOP
  • Identify potential stock issues (out of stock/overstock) and work with stock and or purchase department to resolve it
  • Set sales targets and motivate stores employees to meet those goals
  • Analyze sales by stores and by categories to identify sales leverage and action plans
  • Instruct shops to execute promotional materials and in-store displays according to marketing instructions
  • Control the shops assets and environment is on line with company standards
  • Follow up customer complains and make sure that it is done in all shops in a professional manner
  • Other tasks assigned by General Manager / Report to General Manager on a daily basis
Requirements

Minimum Education

  • University degree

Professional Experience

  • 3+ years of experience working in a retail environment, ideally in a supervisory role in store as store manager level or regional manager level

Knowledge

  • Proven competencies in effective communication and management
  • Numerical and analytical knowledge to properly analyze sales
  • Fluent in English, Khmer and/or French would be a plus
  • Knowledge of retail procedures technics and specificities

  • Customer service-oriented attitude
  • Confidence to lead and direct a team of associates
  • Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively
  • Strengths in leadership, management, team building, and problem solving
