EuroCham, in collaboration with GGGI, is proud to launch two forums on the topics of "Towards an ESCO Association in Cambodia: Challenges and Opportunities" and ''Green Energy Financing in Cambodia: Challenges and Opportunities". The fundamental goal of the two forums is to foster connections between green business stakeholders and to build networks that can advocate for pertinent ESCO/green financing issues to the government. The objective of the first forum is to create public knowledge about green business practices in Cambodia and to draw attention to the importance of using renewable energy sources.

There will be a variety of stakeholders in sustainable energy represented at this forum. We'll hear from Ministry of Mining and Energy representatives who will share the latest updates about the Royal Government of Cambodia's plans on renewable energy, the current renewable energy strategy, and the newly drafted National Energy Efficiency Policy (NEEP) 2021-2023.

Thereafter, we will then listen to a presentation about Cambodia's Energy Mix in the past, present, and future. We will then hear two case studies, the first one being the Case Study of Wind Power Implementation in Cambodia and the second one on Consulting, Designing, and Financing Solar Projects in Cambodia. There will also be a presentation on the Market Survey of Energy Product and Service Providers in Cambodia.

In addition, a UNDP consultant will share the UNDP's white paper on the ESCO Market Roadmap, followed by a presentation on ESCO Activities in the Philippines. At last, this forum will be completed with a Panel Discussion on the topic of 'Towards an ESCO Association: Challenges and Opportunities.

Please join us to learn more about the importance of sustainable energy in Cambodia and network with various stakeholders in the sector, such as government representatives, energy service firms, finance institutions, and development sectors, among others.
