EuroCham Cambodia, in collaboration with SGSControl Union, and Bureau Vertias, is pleased to invite you to an interactive webinar on Environmental Certifications for Factories on Monday 30th May from 15:00-16:30 (GMT +7).

Certifications are an essential piece to helping factories boost their standards and implement sustainable operations. They also help ensure that factories stay compliant with the law.

Issues surrounding sustainable practices are a hot topic, and there are several concerns to address in Cambodia. This webinar will dig deeper into practical issues companies are facing such as a lack of awareness about recycling practices, Higg Index practicalities, and the advantages of ISO certification.

Environmental certifications are experiencing unprecedented demand and this webinar will provide key information surrounding the certifications and how to obtain them.

Factories will learn which certifications are available and be connected to key actors in the sector. The webinar will also outline the requirements needed to be certified and discuss the use of data management systems within the sector.

The webinar will consist of a presentation from Mr. Dilum Wijenayaka, General Manager at Control Union on recycling certifications. Ms. Sarah Kolbenstetter, founder of Little Green Spark and zero waste and eco consultant, will present a case study on waste management. Following the presentations, an extensive Q&A session will be held with the audience.

A representative from SGS will also present on sustainability and ISO. A representative from BV will also present on HIGG verification.
