Details

This series of training courses will raise awareness of the environmental problems caused by today’s textile industry and encourage sustainable practices that can be altered when designing, retailing, and manufacturing.

The course begins with the Sustainable Textile & Global Sourcing Training which aims to familiarise the participants with the recycling textile concepts that can potentially build into their supply chain to increase efficiencies, cut costs, and reduce waste. The concept believes that cutting costs, managing the supply chain sustainably and efficiently will help increase the profitability of the firm without the need to renegotiate with suppliers or increase the price to the customers. Most vendors have failed to meet the code of conduct standards of buyers, and the inability to meet these standards has forced hundreds of factories to run very hard. In this course series, you will learn about Occupational Safety & Health standards which will help you meet the code of conduct requirements by large and famous brands/buyers.

The course will help you catch up with the latest audit requirements posted by relevant buyers and raise above all the challenges that you will normally face.

At the end of this module, you will be able to:

  • Ensure all codes of conduct are met during the audits
  • Reduce the audit failure rate
  • Minimise business risk for your factories
  • Stay competitive in the market.
