During the presentation, participants learnt how to use data to develop insights and action plans for their business.

The session was given by EuroCham and BritCham's member MangoTango Asia.

About the speakers

Katie Scheding Longhurst, President, Head of Digital
Katie Scheding Longhurst pioneered the creation and delivery of early Web sites, producing groundbreaking work at global communications agencies Ogilvy, Young & Rubicam, and McCann. With over twenty years’ experience in marketing and technology management, Katie has worked across digital, social, and mobile marketing, including time at American Express, where she earned U.S. and European patents for payment technologies. She has worked on client projects for Microsoft, IBM, HP, Pfizer, Novartis, Citibank, Chevron, Perrier, and Universal Music, among others. Katie has spoken at many conferences including The Direct Marketing Association, the Folio: shows, and recently at Global Entrepreneurs Week with the Cambodian Women Entrepreneurs Association. She currently serves as Vice-Chair of the International School of Phnom Penh Board of Trustees. Katie holds a BA in English Literature from UCLA.

Christopher McCarthy, CEO
Christopher McCarthy is an expert in advertising and marketing. He has worked for communications agency Ogilvy, and within the WPP and Omnicom digital agency groups. Chris has created award-winning work for clients such as Warner Brothers, Carnegie Hall, Microsoft and American Express. He developed the One Show Interactive Awards, the premier global creative awards for digital design. As well, he helmed the Interface+Design Group of the World Wide Web Artists Consortium. He is a frequent speaker on digital strategy, and has lectured on the subject at venues such as the Haas School of Business (Berkeley), Princeton University, and the National University of Singapore. He holds a BA in Anthropology from Columbia University, with post-graduate studies in education and learning theory, also at Columbia.

Nancy Jaffe, Partner, Head of Strategy

Nancy Jaffe joined MangoTango to bring her expertise in strategic planning, branding, and research, to Cambodia. Before joining MangoTango, she led cross media and digital products across Nielsen’s markets in Southeast Asia. Nancy worked in New York City as Director of Strategic Planning at leading agencies including Wunderman and Ogilvy, working with clients including Microsoft, IBM, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Proctor & Gamble, and MasterCard. Before that she was a pioneer in digital marketing and served as CMO for a software start-up in Silicon Valley. Nancy is a regular speaker at industry events on the changing nature of the consumer in Southeast Asia. She has an M.A. in Social Psychology from Columbia University and B.A. in Psychology and Political Science from Wellesley College.
