The Cambodia Trade Union law has been years in the making and saw several revisions after series of consultations.
CAMFEBA Vice President presented the employers position on the law and the latest revisions that have been discussed in the context of economic development with a key focus on industrial relations and wages developments.  The panel included the ILO sub regional office and senior industry representatives to respond to questions.

About the speaker:

Ms. Sandra D'Amico is the Vice President of CAMFEBA, representing Cambodian Employers at international events and working closely with the ILO, Royal Government of Cambodia and leading advisory bodies for employers. Sandra is a founder and Managing Director of HRINC (Cambodia) Co., Ltd.  Sandra was responsible for negotiating the Trade Union Law in its early phases.  She is currently working with a variety of business and industry associations to coordinate views and the employers’ voice to lobby for an effective and Cambodia relevant law related to Industrial Relations.

Mr. Maurizio Bussi is the Director of the ILO's Decent Work Team for East and South-East Asia and Pacific and ILO's Office-in-Charge for Thailand, Cambodia and Lao PDR. Prior he served as ILO Deputy Regional Director for the Arab States in Beirut and in the ILO office for South Asia in Delhi. Mr. Bussi holds a Master in International Relations from the Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI) and a Master  in Law and Diplomacy  from  the  Fletcher School  at  TUFTS University  (USA).

Mr. Jajoon Coue is a specialist in International Labour Standards and Labour Law with the ILO’s Decent Work Team (DWT) in Bangkok. He holds a Juris Doctor from the New York University School of Law.
