Professional Training Course on Logistics and Supply Chain Management

On 12th and 13th August, EuroCham’s Training Academy will host a 2-day training course on Logistics and Supply Chain Management!

During this training course, you will learn how your supply chain fits into your company and corporate strategies, how to design a supply network specific to your company’s requirement, how to select suppliers, what modes of transport exist and how to choose the one most advantageous to your company. 

The new Incoterms 2020 will also be explained during the training, so participants can confidently use them. 

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

About our trainer

Thomas E. Fernandez holds a Ph.D. in Logistics | MBA in International Business | M.Sc in Computing for Commerce and Industry) 
 
He started his career in freight forwarding and logistics in 1984 in his native Hamburg, Germany as an apprentice. In 1990, he moved to Thailand to work for German Multinationals and local Thai logistics companies, covering Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos. From 1999 on he worked in Taiwan for a German logistics company and returned to work in Thailand in 2002. He completed an MBA in International Business in 2004, an M.Sc. in Computing for Commerce and Industry in 2008, and a Ph.D. in Logistics in 2016. 
 
Currently, he is a lecturer at the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC) and has been invited as a guest lecturer at universities in Thailand and Germany. Since 2019, he has conducted several highly successful trainings in collaboration with EuroCham for logistics professionals based in Cambodia.
