The Committee is a platform for information sharing and discussion, and concerns itself with matters that solely relate to tax related issues while seeking to join hands with the Cambodian authorities in order to improve overall business environment and practices in the sector.
- Collect information about tax related issues and share with the members;
- Identify the legal and practical aspects of the current tax system and its development with the view of promoting European businesses operating in Cambodia and respond to the pressure of a changing economy and regulations;
- Identify legal and structural issues related to the sector and propose solutions to the Royal Government and major stakeholders through existing Advocacy channels and the EuroCham White Book.
- Advocate regarding tax related issues, not only at General Department of Tax level but also at the Ministry of Economy and Finance level (policy making level).
