ABOUT ADVOCACY COMPASS
As part of its mandate to service members and attract more European investors in the Kingdom, EuroCham has developed an Advocacy pillar dedicated to promoting dialogue with our Cambodian counterparts, both within the Royal Government and the private sector.
To feed this dialogue, EuroCham relies on the works of its Sectorial Committees which comprise: Agri-Biz, Automotive, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Digital & New Technologies, Garment & Manufacturing, Green Business, Healthcare, Human Resources, Real Estate & Construction, Tax, Tourism, Transportation and Logistics. The Sectorial Committees meet regularly to identify regulatory and structural issues affecting their business and to propose constructive solutions that EuroCham can bring forward to the Royal Government. EuroCham’s regular events (sectorial forums, luncheons, and breakfast talks) then provide opportunities for the Royal Government to expose and explain its policies while answering to queries raised by the private sector.
Every two years, EuroCham will publish a White Book presenting a range of policy proposals designed to improve the overall Cambodian business environment and regulatory framework. This White Book will be formally handed over to the Royal Government on the occasion of a special forum dedicated to investment in Cambodia.
