Prakas On Public Holiday on National Day of Remembrance Minister of Labour and Vocational Training

- Having seen the Constitution of Kingdom of Cambodia; - Having seen the Article 162 of Labour Law;

- Having seen the Royal Kret No. នស/រកត/0913/903, dated 24 September 2013, on the Appointment of Royal Government of Kingdom of Cambodia;

- Having seen the Royal Kram No. 02/នស/94, dated 20 July 1994, promulgating the Law on the Organization and Functioning of the Council of Ministers;

- Having seen the Royal Kret No. នស/រកត/0805/354 dated on 05th August 2005 on Transforming the Permanent Committee for the Arrangement of National/International Holiday to the Committee for the Arrangement of National/International Holiday;

- Having seen the Royal Kram No. ជស/រកម/0397/01, Promulgating the Labour Law;

- Having seen the Royal Kram No. នស/រកម/0105/003, dated 17 January 2005, promulgating the Law on the Establishment of Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training;

- Having seen the Sub-decree No. 283 អន ក.បក, on Organizing and Functioning of the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training;

- Having seen the Sub-Decree No. 202 អន ក.បក, dated 28 November 2017, concerning the Day off Calendar for Civil Servant and Employees/Workers;

- Having seen the Sub-Decree No. 19 អន ក.បក dated on 14 February 2018, on the National Day of Remembrance.

Hereby Deceided

Article 1:

Shall allow the workers/employees of all enterprises/establishments as prescribed under the article 1 of Labour Law to have the paid Public Holiday on 20th of May every year pursuant to the Sub-Decree

No. 19 អន ក.បក dated on 14 February 2018 on the National Day of Remembrance.

Article 2:

For any public holiday which falls on Sunday, the workers or employees shall be given one more day off on the following day.

Article 3:

The Director of Cabinet, General Director of General Department of Administration and Finance, General Director of General Department of Labour, General Director of General Department of Technical Education and Vocational Training, General Secretary of General Secretariat, General Secretary of General Committee for Resolving Strike and Demonstrate issue at all relevant directions, Head of Department of Labour Inspector, and Head of Relevance Units shall abide by this Prakas after signed onward.
