Notification 336 on Deadline for Registration Informal Sector with NSSF
The Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training (MoLVT) would like to inform the owners and directors of the enterprises/establishments under the scope and provisions of the Labour Law that according to the recommendation of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the employer and the owner of the enterprises/establishments who are employing one or many employee/workers shall has an obligation to register their enterprises/establishments and workers/employees with the NSSF. Particularly, the workers/employees in the informal sector will be receiving equity fund system and additional allowance for the female workers/employees when deliver the birth.
As mentioned above, the enterprises/establishments who haven’t registered shall immediately register their employee/workers with NSSF (Head Office) or the branches of NSSF at 24 provinces and at Khan/ District before deadline on Sunday, 14 Kert- Kei Bos- Chnam Reka- NPSK. In case, the enterprises/establishments missed to register by the deadline above, shall be responsible for any law enforcements or fine and having the legal obligations to provide all benefits as defined under the provision of this notification (Health Care through the Health Equity Fund services and additional allowance for the female workers when deliver the birth).
The MoVT strongly hope that all enterprises/establishments who are employing one or many employee/workers under the scope and provisions of the Labour Law shall be highly responsible and following this announcement.
