In charge of the daily operation of the boutique – front and back office – with the aim to communicate the overall brand message in a successful manner to generate business. The candidate will be responsible for the following:
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. SALES MANAGEMENT :
• Guide and drive the sales staff to fulfill the monthly and annual sales targets set by Management
• Achieve key performance indicator values defined by Management
• Implement action plans, focusing on the improvement of sales and service excellence
• Implement retail and commercial policies formulated by Management
• Collect relevant information on the results of boutique events as well as external factors' potential influence on the business.
2. CLIENT AND SERVICE MANAGEMENT
• Provide the highest level of customer service by respecting Services guidelines
• Satisfy customers by providing a service of excellence, adapted customer after-sales service and taking care of any complaints
• Build long-term relationships with customers and take care of VIP clients
• Manage the development of the boutique’s clientele by developing a qualified customer database and building a strong VIP customer database.
3. MAISON AMBASSADOR :
• Responsible for the standard of welcoming & handling the customers (in the boutique, on the phone, by email and during events)
• Enhance the brand's image by maintaining standards and integrity both within the boutique and outside and in compliance with rules and guidelines
• Local Brand Ambassador with partners and local dignitaries
4. STAFF MANAGEMENT :
• Inspire and motivate the sales associates to establish a cohesive and effective team
• Coach and train Boutique staff to drive up individual performance
• Express the Boutique recruitment needs to maintain proper and effective headcount – Conduct recruitment interviews following Maison’s best interest
• Create and enforce action plans focusing on improving sales associates’ product knowledge, selling skills and service attitude
• Monitor the appearance and behavior of each Boutique employee - Impeccable grooming and service excellence
5. BOUTIQUE OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT :
• Manage, implement and evaluate boutique operations on an on-going basis
• Manage optimal levels of inventories and stock in coordination with the Operations Department
• Prepare various daily and monthly reports for management analysis on a regular basis
• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail sales and management, preferably in luxury retail industry or luxury hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate, develop and cultivate a team
• Excellent customer service, organizational and problem solving skills
• Experience with high profile clients, PR events, and ability to network is required
• Excellent proficiency in English. Mandarin speaking would be great plus.
