Blaise Kilian graduated from the Paris Institute of Political Studies in 1996 and received a higher education degree in applied economics in 1997 before studying Khmer at the French National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO) in 1999.
He has been living in Cambodia for 15 years, where he has worked for a number of public and private agencies, both Cambodian and foreign, and taught economics (in French) for seven years at the Royal University of Law and Economics. He spent nine years at the UNESCO Phnom Penh office in January 2006 as a member of the ICC-Angkor Standing Secretariat and handling a number of cultural projects with various national and international stakeholders. Ms. Sophorn CHHUM is a native Cambodian and a French Citizen and has spent significant time living and working in France. She brings with her a professional experience spanning more than 18 years across a variety of roles in communication, marketing, customer support, event organization and human resources, in a multinational organization based in France.
A stronger focus of her career was on marketing and corporate communication in the later part of her career to help SMEs to develop their branding and address corporate communications through digital media.
Her experience in Cambodia, before joining Eurocham, Sophorn had the position of Chief Executive of IBC of Cambodia in charge of implementing the strategic priorities of IBC, while working towards further enhancing IBC’s communication platform, managing and executing various advocacy related events and conferences and deepening the involvement in strengthening IBC’s position in assisting the development of private sector in Cambodia. Sophorn holds an MBA from Singapore.
In her role as the Senior Relationship manager, Sophorn will be in charge of developing a strong strategy to support the membership activities and will be coordinating the national Chapters of EuroCham creating synergies between the Chambers over the region.Email:

Business Services ManagerCompany: EuroCham Cambodia
Thomas recently joined EuroCham in the role of Business Services Manager, where he'll be managing the services team in the implementation of short term consulting projects across Cambodia, and assisting European companies get started in the country.
Prior to joining EuroCham, Thomas was a Consultant at Emerging Markets Consulting (EMC), based in Lao PDR, where his work included the development and implementation of project methodologies for both development partners and private sector companies, including Save the Children, Plan International, The World Bank, IFC and GIZ, as well as multinational companies interested in Cambodia, Myanmar and Lao PDR. Most recently, this included a study on the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Lao PDR, as well as an assessment of the readiness for renewable energy investment in the Philippines.
Before joining EMC, Thomas worked as a Business Management Scheme entrant for BT Group Plc, undertaking rotations as an operations manager of a 24 person operations team, and as a project manager in charge of services quality. Prior to venturing into telecommunications, Thomas worked at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals as a Regulatory Strategist at the firms UK headquarters.
Thomas is a British Citizen, and received his degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Bath, UK.Email:
